Why Water Conservation?

Between 1950 and 2000, the US population nearly doubled, but the demand for water more than tripled. Americans are now using and average of 100 gallons of water a day, enough to fill 1,600 drinking glasses. This high water demand has been steadily diminishing our local water supplies and distribution systems, threatening both the environment and human health. A recent government study even showed that 36 states anticipate shortages by 2013.

Here at Foremost, we want to do our part and help protect our environment and preserve our water supplies for future generations.

Why We Care

An American family of four can use more than 400 gallons of water every day, and on average, approximately 70 percent of that water is used indoors. But did you know that you and your family could save nearly 30,000 gallons per year simply by installing water-efficient fixtures in your home?

If all inefficient toilets in U.S. homes were converted to high-efficiency models, we could save more than 950 billion gallons of water per year - the equivalent to 15 days of flow over Niagara Falls.

What Can We Do?

In response to this problem, Foremost Groups has partnered with WaterSense and we've manufactured the high-efficiency All in One Box® 1000 Series toilet. This toilet allows for a 1.1 gallon flush for liquids and a 1.6 gallon flush for solids, and using it can save your family up to 4,000 gallons of water per year.
