WaterSense and Water Conservation

What is the EPA WaterSense program?

conserve our public water sources

WaterSense, a partnership program sponsored by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, makes it easy for Americans to save water and protect the environment. Look for our WaterSense-labeled toilets and choose quality, water-efficient products. Read more to learn about our WaterSense labeled products and why saving water is so important today.

Why Water Conservation?

Between 1950 and 2000, the US population nearly doubled, but the demand for water more than tripled. The average American is now using an average of 100 gallons of water each day - enough to fill 1,600 drinking glasses. This high water demand has been steadily diminishing our local water supplies and distribution systems, threatening both the environment and human health. A recent government study even showed that 36 states anticipate water shortages by 2013.

Here at Foremost, we want to do our part and help protect our environment and preserve our water supplies for future generations. This is why we have introduced our all new water-conserving toilets.

Why We Care...

An American family of four can use more than 400 gallons of water every day, and on average, approximately 70 percent of that water is used indoors. But did you know that you and your family could save nearly 30,000 gallons per year simply by installing water-saving fixtures in your home?

If all inefficient toilets in U.S. homes were converted to high-efficiency models, we could save more than 950 billion gallons of water per year - the equivalent to 15 days of flow over Niagara Falls.

How Can We Save Water?

Foremost Groups has partnered with the EPA WaterSense program in an effort to conserve the publics water

In response to this problem, Foremost has partnered with the EPA's WaterSense program and we've manufactured our new WaterSense labeled toilets that can save a family of four over 16,000 gallons of water per year. Check out the all new high-efficiency toilets (HETs) and see how much water you can save with our water savings calculator.
