Foremost Announces Bath Vanity Design Challenge Winner : Personal expression, creative innovation & Stylish function
East Hanover, NJ- May 4, 2012 - Foremost Groups today announced the official winner of its first Foremost Vanity Design Contest. The first prize of $5,000 was awarded for the best original design of a 36” bathroom vanity.
Kevin Calabrese of St. Clair Shores, Mich. won the $5,000 first place prize for his 1970’s inspired design. Calabrese explains his design rationale:
“How could I push boundaries and create a timeless design that transcends generations while fitting multiple bathroom styles? I introduced Cosmo, a vanity concept that represents personal expression, creative innovation and stylish function. Inspired by 1970’s living room radios that were more furniture then radio. These timeless pieces defined a generation but still remain elegant today. Using this overall theme, I refined my design and added modern materials to create a unique statement suitable for any bathroom needing an injection of personality and fun. Why can’t the bathroom be a fun place?”

"Kevin really hit the mark with this design,” says Dave Bruce, executive vice president. “We felt he was able to add a spark to any bathroom with his concept. This stretches the boundaries even further in bath design and allows for a fun and creative bathroom makeover.”
Foremost would also like to honor the following finalists for their exceptional designs:
STEPPED: Designed by Zsolt Kovacs
VERDEKT: Designed by Stephen Bates
